Christmas Wishlist 2020

There are so many groups working to help others in our community and offer opportunities to people who might otherwise miss out. Donations to any of the following organizations would be greatly appreciated:

Youth Empowerment and Support Services
YESS provides immediate and low-barrier overnight and day shelter, temporary supportive housing, and individualized wrap-around supports for young people aged 15–24. Donate.

The Mustard Seed
The Mustard Seed Edmonton is operating a new, temporary, 24/7 shelter not far from my home. This is much-needed on the south side of the city, especially now that we are into winter weather. Donate.

Edmonton Food Bank
Edmonton Food Bank envisions a community where hunger does not exist, where all citizens have access to an adequate and nutritious supply of food. Donate.

iHuman Youth Society
iHuman services and supports have grown into an ever adapting model of community care with and emphasis on creative services, which centre the experiences and needs of young people who face serious barriers. Donate.

The GELA Prison Libraries Project is a group of volunteers who provide library resources and programs to correctional facilities located in the Edmonton area, including the Edmonton Institution for Women, the Edmonton Institution, and the Edmonton Remand Centre. Work includes:
